We believe young people have been the most affected by COVID-19 and you may be worried about jobs and training for yourself in the future. The Metro Mayor of Liverpool City Region, Steve Rotheram, is working closely with the Jobcentre Plus and youth organisations to create youth employment hubs for young people to use.

Some will be online, but some will also be face to face, so you can speak with someone. At the youth employment hubs, you will be able to find support to help you with your future.

The youth employment hubs will have everything in one place and will be:

. For young people aged 16-25 years

. Give information about jobs and apprenticeships you can apply for

. Give advice on career/job choices you may be interested in

. Give support for you to get training opportunities

If you are between the ages of 16-25, this is the chance for you and your friends to have your say!

We would like to know what you want these employment hubs to look like and be like. It would be great if you could complete this short survey to let us know what think.

Please click here to view / to download the survey on a word document.

We have tried to ensure this ‘easy read’ version is more accessible to young individuals with SEND, who may suffer from learning difficulties such as dyslexia.

As the above is in a more typical document format, it can also be printed and filled in by young people you may work with. . For those completing the above version, please submit answers to education@liverpoolcityregion-ca.gov.uk.

The survey can also be found online, here.
