Get the VaccineCOVID vaccination bus comes to Kirkby

The COVID vaccination bus is coming to Kirkby on 24 and 25 May. If you’re eligible (including being aged 50 or over), go along to get your vaccine – no appointment is needed. The bus will be based on Old Rough Lane (car park by the shops) from 10am until 4pm. It will return 10-12 weeks’ later for second dose vaccines. Step 3 of the Government’s roadmap
The Prime Minister announced this week that England will move to Step 3 of the roadmap to recovery from Monday 17 May meaning:-

  • Up to 30 people will be able to meet up outdoors
  • Up to 6 people or two households can meet up indoors
  • Indoor entertainment and attractions can reopen (cinemas, soft play centres etc)
  • Hotels and B&Bs can reopen
  • Adult indoor sports and exercise is allowed
  • Up to 30 people will be allowed to attend weddings
  • The maximum limit on attendance at funerals will be lifted (limits will be in place depending upon capacity of the venue)
