FREE safeguarding training for adults working with young people or vulnerable adults

The Borders Project is a highly interactive 3 hour workshop specifically designed for all Adult Safeguarders who support young people and/or vulnerable adults.   These sessions are available to anyone who works/volunteers in Knowsley particularly those who may not get the opportunity to attend this type of training otherwise.

It includes definitions of gangs, organised crime, insight into aspects that cause increased vulnerability, the National Referral Mechanism, correlation between county lines and modern day slavery and people trafficking. It also includes an Adult Safeguarder’s enhanced youth engagement and knife-crime awareness.

There are four 3hr workshops available, but you only need to attend one of them.  We will provide lunch in between the sessions to provide the opportunity for networking.  Please let me know if you plan on attending lunch by completing this link https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/booklunch

We also have a couple of free sessions available for youth groups (Street Strong Street Safe ) based in Knowsley to benefit from. Please contact Annie on annie.maclean@forhousing.org.uk if you would like to arrange a session for your group.
