David manages the day to day running of the finance department along with his roles as compliance officer for finance and administration (COFA) and deputy anti money laundering officer (MLRO). He is involved in the strategic board and management team. David is chair of Knowsley Youth Mutual and treasurer for the Michael Causer Foundation. He trained as an accountant at Marconi communications. David enjoys playing football, watching Everton and Wigan Warriors and socialising.

Dave is responsible for the overall strategic management and future direction of Fusion21. He is instrumental in shaping the vision for the organisation, and is a champion for innovation, collaboration and sustainability. A strong networker with high level relationships within the social housing and social enterprise sectors at local, regional and national levels, Dave has considerable non-executive experience in social enterprise, CVS and community interest companies.

Did You Know:  Dave was named as a finalist in Ernst & Young “Entrepreneur of the Year” 2013 and “Great British Entrepreneur” in 2014.

After 25 years of managing a law firm Louise decided to hang up her suit and start her own retail business. Louise has vast experience in financial management, marketing, HR and both operation and strategic management.  Louise is a champion of small independent businesses and loves to work together with all local stakeholders.

Chris has 19 years of banking experience, having started out originally serving customers on a reception desk in a busy branch, and subsequently progressing through various customer and Manager roles. He has been working with SME businesses for the last 15 years and has spent the last 7 years leading a team of Relationship Managers to work with, and support, these businesses.

Did you know: Chris once took on a bike ride from Manchester to Liverpool dressed as Father Christmas to raise monies for a local children’s charity!

Paul Growney: Champion for Health and Social Care

paulPaul Growney is the Chief Executive Officer for Caring Connections / Non-Executive Director for Knowsley and St Helens Hospitals Trust

A lifelong Knowsley resident with over 10 years’ experience within the voluntary and community sector.

Paul has a range of management / leadership experience across social enterprises and charities and was the CEO of Wirral CVS for a number of years. His passion is improving the service offer to Knowsley residents across the health and social care platform.  He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and originally graduated with a degree in Psychology from The University of Liverpool.

Did you know: Paul is a massive MMA fan and trains at Aspire combat sports in which he aims to compete in his first grappling completion in 2019.
